Pastors Gil & Rosi Nantes
King's Anchorage Lead Pastors
Pastor Gil and Pastor Rosi Nantes have served on the pastoral team at King’s Cathedral and Chapels since 2014. In 2016, they stepped out in faith, moving from Wasilla to Eagle River and starting a life group in their living room—an intimate beginning that quickly grew into a thriving community.
As the church expanded, weekly gatherings moved to the Harry MacDonald Center in 2017. On December 24, 2017, King’s Eagle River celebrated its first official service at its longtime home atop the Eagle River AIH Building on the Old Glenn Highway.
Through the years, Pastor Gil and Pastor Rosi have been passionate about reaching people, building strong families, and creating space for real encounters with God. Their leadership has helped shape a life-giving church rooted in hope, healing, and restoration.
In 2025, while believing for a permanent building in Eagle River, God shifted the direction. In December 2025, a new door opened to purchase a building in Anchorage—marking the start of a bold new season as King’s Eagle River became King’s Anchorage.
With faith and expectation, Pastor Gil and Pastor Rosi are excited for what God is doing next in Anchorage and for the lives that will be reached in the city.
Married for over 20 years, Pastor Gil and Pastor Rosi are raising their three children—Kaio, Talitha, and Gabriel—in ministry, serving together as a family devoted to God and people.
